The Deposition was one of the many statues that Michelangelo made in his years. The Deposition was made in the year 1547-1553, this statue contains 4 people and which the pain person you see in the center is Jesus, when he was recently taken down from the cross. The other characters in the sculpture consist of Mary Magdalene, what appears to be Nicodemus (or possibly Joseph of Arimatha and the Virgin Mary. This sculpture is in the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo in Florence. Michelangelo's last sculptors were two pietas, the Florence Pieta is to decorate his tomb in Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome said Vasari. A fresco painting known as The creation of Adam by Michelangelo in in the Sistine Chapel ceiling. It was painted in 1511-1512 and it is 280 cm x 570 cm (9 ft 2 in x 18 ft 8 in. Illustrates the Biblical creation narrative from the Book of Genesis where God gives life to Adam (known as the first man) A complex iconography scheme and is chronologically the 4th in the series of panels from Genesis, which is the fresco part.
Bacchus (Michelangelo)Bacchus was made in the year 1496-7, it is made out of marble, is is 203 cm (80 in). Bacchus is located in Museo Nazionale del Bargello, Florence. An Italian High Renaissance sculptor, painter, architect and poet Michelangelo, this statue is life size, and depicts Bacchus who was the Roman God of wine with a drunkenness reeling pose. Bacchus is depicted with his eyes rolling almost teetering off the rocky outcrop on which he stands his staggering body. Sipping out of Bacchus left hand stands behind him a young fawn eating grapes.
